What is the Re-Entry Program
WHAT IS THE RE-ENTRY PROGRAM?
Returning to the community after incarceration can present many challenges. Finding housing, securing employment, accessing health care, obtaining identification, arranging transportation, and reconnecting with community support can feel overwhelming.
The Re-Entry Program helps individuals identify these challenges, develop a realistic plan, and connect with available resources.
Re-entry planning begins on day one of incarceration and continues through release, with six months of case management following release.
This is more than providing supplies or handing out referrals. It is about helping individuals navigate barriers, establish connections, and take practical steps toward greater independence and stability.
