RE-ENTRY PROGRAM

A Path Forward Starts Here
Re-entry is a process. You don't have to navigate it alone.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office Re-Entry Program is dedicated to helping individuals prepare for release from jail, overcome barriers, and establish connections with community resources that support a successful return to the community.
Our goal is to promote stability, encourage personal responsibility, and provide meaningful connections that help individuals move forward.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS MATTER
Successful re-entry is a community effort. The Re-Entry Program recognizes that no single organization can address every challenge an individual may face when returning to the community.
Building relationships with local service providers, treatment programs, housing organizations, recovery resources, and other community partners helps create stronger connections and more coordinated support.
Through collaboration, we work to:
Connect individuals with appropriate programs and services.
Coordinate referrals and identify available resources.
Reduce gaps in services and barriers to access.
Encourage communication between community providers.
Support a more connected approach to re-entry.
Together, we can create better opportunities for individuals and strengthen our community.
