Superior Man Sentenced to 24 Years on Drug, Other Charges

(Superior, WI) – On Friday, February 13, 2015 Cole Raymond Didrikson was sentenced in Douglas County Circuit Court to 24 years of supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections including initial confinement of 12 years followed by 12 years of extended supervision. He was also ordered to pay fines, court costs, and restitution totaling several thousands of dollars. This sentence was the result of a plea agreement with the Douglas County District Attorney. Didrikson pled guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Vehicle Operator Fleeing an Officer, Manufacture/Delivery of Heroin, Manufacture/Delivery of Methamphetamine, Intimidate Witness/Use or Attempt Force, and Bail Jumping. All of these are felony convictions. Several other charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement. The convictions are the result of the combined investigative efforts of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Superior Police Department, Northwest Area Crime Unit Task Force and Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
