Search On For Missing Tennessee Man


Douglas County and WI DNR authorities are on scene today in the Brule River State Forest conducting a ground search for a man reported missing in Tennessee.

Philip Joshua Johnson, 37, was reported missing to the Nashville, TN Metro PD on October 18.  A vehicle linked to him was reported abandoned in the Brule River State Forest on a trail off of Brackett's Corner Rd. on or about November 6th.  Local hunters in the area indicate the vehicle may have been there since October 23rd.

Deputies searched the area on November 7, but found no signs of the missing man.  A dog team is being brought in today to cover more area.

Anyone with information about a white PT Cruiser with temporary TN plates or Johnson, in the area during late October is urged to contact the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
