On Saturday night 6-27-2020 at 9:30 pm squads and medical were dispatched to a possible injury crash on CTH Y near Jackacki Rd in the town of Gordon.  The reporting party said they found a crashed motorcycle off the roadway but could not find anybody around.

First-responders arrived and located a three-wheeled trike motorcycle about 300 ft off the pavement in waist-high brush.  They located a victim about 50 ft away.

The victim is identified as Jon Winjum, 62, of Gordon.  He had been northbound on CTH Y and failed to negotiate the curve near the Jackacki Rd and left the pavement. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
