A 29 year old Maple man is in a Duluth Hospital recovering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Three persons were questioned and released last night.  Nobody is in custody at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.

Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a reported shooting incident on Pellman Loop Rd in the town of Maple at 3:47pm on Monday 9/2/2019.

Officers arrived and found one victim with multiple gunshot wounds.  This victim was airlifted to a Duluth hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.

Three persons were detained and are being questioned regarding the incident.  All subjects were known to each other, and all involved in this incident are accounted for.  There is no suspect at large nor any danger to the public.
