Two persons reported minor injuries this afternoon when the vehicle they were in struck a house.

The crash was reported at 12:31pm on USH 2 and Pond Drive, just east of downtown Poplar. A westbound 1994 Jeep Cherokee driven by Sherri Rock, 56, Ironwood, left the road and struck the house located at 9821E USH 2. Rock and her passenger reported minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital via ambulance.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation at this time. Nobody was in the house at the time of the crash.
