Town of Superior Man Arrested for Substantial Battery

Sheriff's Office badge starDeputies responded to a fight call at 5970s CTH A in the Town of Superior on Sunday night May 25th at 9:17pm. It was reported that Richard Lindelof, 47, of the Town of Superior, was fighting with his father Herb Lindelof, 85.

According to reports, Herb had called a friend over earlier in the day because he was fearful of Richard.  The friend advised that Richard came over three times during the day arguing about money. On the third time when Herb told Richard he couldn’t use the car, Richard became violent.  Richard slammed Herb up against the wall, threw him over the dining room table and onto the floor. Once on the floor, Richard punched Herb. Richard fled when he learned police were called.

Herb initially refused medical treatment but would later be brought to the hospital. Richard returned to the residence during the night and was taken into custody by deputies at approx.. 8am when discovered by family members.  He was brought to the Douglas County Jail and charged with Substantial Battery.
